Scottish Terrier ready for Adoption!

Olive is a smart, loyal, and affectionate young dog who is looking for the right home to help her continue building confidence and stability. She has already completed a structured two-week professional training program and has a solid foundation in place.

Olive can be reactive in certain situations, especially around unfamiliar people or dogs, which can sometimes be misunderstood as aggression. She has also shown resource guarding behaviors, particularly toward male humans she forms strong bonds with. In the past, her bite incidents were related to this type of guarding behavior. With proper structure, clear boundaries, and continued guidance, these behaviors are manageable.

Because of her needs, Olive would do best in an experienced, adult-only home where she can be the only pet. She thrives in a calm environment with consistency and leadership.

To support her success, her future adopter will receive free Lifetime Training Support through The Dog Wizard Walnut Creek. This includes access to graduate support classes (at participating locations nationwide) as well as remote coaching when needed, so her new family is never on their own.
