She’s loyal, affectionate, and would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a Velcro dog by their side.

But when it comes to other dogs? That’s Lucy’s growing edge. She gets nervous and reactive on leash, often barking or lunging when she sees another dog. It’s not aggression — it’s uncertainty. She doesn’t quite know how to say “hello” politely, and she hasn’t learned that other dogs aren’t a threat. She’d do best as the only dog in the home for now, with a patient owner who’s willing to work on desensitization and structured introductions.

Lucy will be at the next event in Santa Ana, CA and San Diego, CA and cannot be reserved until the day after the last event ends.
