Lance is a people-friendly, playful, and smart male dog who loves engaging with adults and building trust at his own pace. While he has not been socially introduced to children yet, he has the potential to do well with kids with the proper, slow introductions and supervision.

He is not a fan of cats, so he will need a home where cats are not present (or where he can be safely separated). If you’re looking for a fun companion with a bright mind, Lance is your guy—he enjoys learning and staying engaged.

One thing to note: Lance doesn’t currently enjoy walking on a leash, so he will benefit from ongoing leash training and patience as he learns that walking can be positive and rewarding. The best part is that he’s not aggressive and not destructive—he’s a good-hearted dog who just needs the right routine and guidance.
