Dog-friendly Wingfield Springs
With parks, walking paths, and nearby open land, the area is easy on active dogs and the people who walk them. Early mornings and evenings are the best times for walks, especially in summer when the ground heats up. Keep your dog leashed in neighborhood parks and bring water for longer outings.

Adoption Event Manager
I’m Tara and I’m the Events Manager for Amazing Dogs Rescue Reno, where I get to help furry friends find their forever homes! My lifelong love for dogs began in childhood because my dad was a K9 officer. His K9 partners were additions to our family and I was hands-on with their care and love. Around the age of 12, my dad showed me the ropes with dog training. Fast-forward to the present, wherein our family has adopted our dog, Bronx, for our daughter (who has Down Syndrome). It’s been so rewarding to guide him through service certification. I’ve always been in awe of a dog’s capabilities to love and learn. It’s my passion to help people connect with their furry best friend(s)!
