Scottsdale, AZ Dog Adoption Events

Adopt a dog at one of our dog adoption events near Scottsdale

Scottsdale is known for its Old Town nightlife, art galleries and resort-style living, and it’s also a very dog-loving city. It’s about a 20-minute drive to our adoption events in Phoenix, depending on where you live in the city. That makes it easy for Scottsdale residents to meet their next best friend.

Getting to an adoption event

Our Phoenix adoption events at Petco are the closest option for Scottsdale adopters. Once you find a dog you’re interested in on our available dogs page, you can reserve a spot to meet them at our next Phoenix event.

Dog-friendly Scottsdale

Scottsdale has several off-leash areas, including the dog parks at Eldorado Park and Chaparral Park. The Arizona Canal path is a good option for a leashed walk, and Old Town has many patios where dogs are welcome. Leash rules still apply on trails and in most public spaces outside the dog parks.
