Dog-friendly Santa Clara
Santa Clara offers plenty of great places to spend time with your pup. The Larry J. Marsalli Park features a popular fenced off-leash dog park with separate areas for big and small dogs, while Raymond G. Gamma Dog Park provides another dedicated spot for off-leash socialization.
Patio dining is abundant around Franklin Square, Rivermark Plaza, and Santa Clara Square, where several eateries welcome leashed dogs on their outdoor patios. One thing worth knowing: leashes are required in all general city parks like Central Park outside designated dog park fences.

Adoption Event Manager
With a lifelong passion for animals and rescue work, I’ve dedicated decades to community service and helping those in need. My family includes rescues of all kinds—from two aquatic turtles and my German Rottweiler who rescued me to a pack of community cats we adore.
When I discovered Amazing Dogs Rescue in 2024, I knew I had to get involved. Now, as the Event Manager for Pittsburg, I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible team and to help create impactful events for our furry friends. I’m excited to contribute to the mission of giving dogs the second chance they deserve!
