Upcoming Dog Adoption Events in Palm Desert, CA
Adopt a dog at one of our dog adoption events near Indian Wells
Indian Wells is famous for its world-class tennis venues and lush golf courses, and it sits directly adjacent to Palm Desert—about a 5-minute drive from our adoption events. That makes it easy for Indian Wells residents to find their new best friend at one of our events.
Getting to an adoption event
Our Palm Desert adoption events are the closest option for Indian Wells adopters. Once you find a dog you’re interested in on our available dogs page, you can reserve a spot to meet them at our next Palm Desert event.
Dog-friendly Indian Wells
Indian Wells offers upscale, scenic environments for walking your dog. While golf courses are restricted, the tree-lined paths along Miles Avenue and Washington Street provide great leashed routes. Residents also love visiting nearby green spaces like the Indian Wells Tennis Garden grounds during open community walk times.
When it comes to dining out, Indian Wells features great dog-friendly patios. Spots like Vue Grille & Bar and Eureka! welcome well-behaved pups on their outdoor verandas. One thing worth knowing: paved surfaces get very hot during mid-day, so stick to early morning grass walks or shaded trails.
