Upcoming Dog Adoption Events in Las Vegas, NV
Adopt a dog at one of our dog adoption events near Enterprise
Enterprise sits at the southern edge of the Las Vegas Valley, a fast-growing community of newer homes, quiet cul-de-sacs, and families who love spending time outside. It is a great fit for dog lovers because many homes have yards, and the neighborhood parks and walking paths make daily routines easy. It’s about a 10-minute drive to our Las Vegas adoption events, so Enterprise residents can meet their new best friend without a long trip.
Getting to an adoption event
Our Las Vegas events are held at Petco on Blue Diamond Road, a quick trip west from most of Enterprise. Most neighbors can get there in about 10 minutes by heading toward Blue Diamond Road and following it west. Browse our available dogs page, pick the dog you’d like to meet, and reserve a spot at our next Las Vegas event.
Dog-friendly Enterprise
Enterprise’s newer neighborhoods are built with walking in mind. Sidewalks, community parks, and open areas make morning and evening strolls easy. Summer heat is serious here, so plan walks for early morning or after sunset, and keep water on hand. Pavement can burn paws in the afternoon. Many shopping centers along the Blue Diamond corridor have shaded patios, and it’s always worth asking before bringing a dog to a table.

Adoption Event Manager
I’m a proud dog mom of two pups. I was asked to join Amazing Dogs Rescue just days after my beloved Kaylee, a beautiful, regal Carolina Ridgeback mix of almost 15 years, passed away. She was my best girl and was central in my life. I felt a strong desire to help other dogs and families experience a similar connection. Joining Amazing Dogs Rescue has been heart-healing and rewarding by uniting humans and dogs looking for joy and togetherness. At my second adoption event, I encouraged a mourning woman to adopt a new pup into her life. That same day, I also welcomed a new dog-ter into my life. It so happened that the woman and my new pup had the same name! I love signs from God, and I take my direction from Him.
Petco Certified Trainer
My childhood goal was to be a veterinarian but as I got older, I fell in love with the training field. I want to help teach humans how to teach their dogs & how to bond by creating a clear system of learning that is founded on a strong history of trust, positive reinforcement & more! There is so much more to our training methods than just giving a treat for a job well done, and if you can learn the nuances of the methods, you can not only create a deep bond with your dog, but create a system of communication that you can use to teach your dog so much.
